Two of the top-ranked teams in the NCAA Division II Central Region will meet Friday at 3 p.m. at the Chartwells Tennis Center in Russellville, Ark. Harding is ranked No. 10 in the Central Region and Arkansas Tech is ranked No. 2. The Golden Suns are ranked No. 29 in NCAA II. Arkansas Tech is Harding's third nationally-ranked opponent this season.

Harding and Arkansas Tech will be meeting for the 40th time. The Golden Suns have won the last four meetings but the Lady Bisons lead the series 33-6.

Both teams enter the match on long winning streaks. Harding has won its last five, and Arkansas Tech has won four straight. The teams are also both undefeated in conference play.

Both teams have players ranked in the top 20 in singles in the region. Harding's Benyapa Phumtip is ranked No. 9, and Arkansas Tech's Nozomi Matsuoka is No. 7. The Golden Suns have two regionally-ranked doubles teams. Sardak and Leyshyna are No. 3, and Matsuoka and Bell are No. 4.
