Harding Notes

The No. 36 Harding women's tennis team opens the 2015 spring season Saturday at 1 p.m. against Hendrix College.

The Lady Bisons won both of their dual matches in the fall by 9-0 scores, defeating both Rhodes College and Christian Brothers.

Harding is ranked No. 3 in the Central Region entering the season. Sophomore Piper Huey is the top-ranked Harding singles player at No. 6 in the region, and junior Ali Bishop is No. 12. Huey and Bishop are the region's No. 3 doubles team.

Hendrix Notes

Hendrix is an NCAA Division III team and plays in the Southern Athletic Association. The Warriors enter the match 2-0 after defeating John Brown and University of the Ozarks in the fall.

Sarah Walker, a freshman from Denison, Texas, won five of her six singles matches in the fall.
