William Jewell, a member of the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference, enters the contest on a four-match losing streak. Most recently the Cardinals dropped a 9-0 decision to Newman on Saturday. William Jewell has a 21-33 (.389) record in dual singles matches and 11-16 (.407) in doubles.

Nebraska-Kearney is a member of the NCAA Division II Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. The Lopers are undefeated entering the weekend at 6-0 and are ranked fifth in ITA Central Region. Kearney plays Rockhurst on Friday before Saturday's match with Harding. Harding freshman Lexi Beaver enters the contest with a team-best three-match winning streak. Arielle Butler and Emily Faulkner have a four-match winning streak at No. 2 doubles.

Savannah Drew, a senior from Wentzville, Missouri, has two wins at No. 1 singles this season but has lost her last six matches.

Emma Neil, a sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, is a perfect 6-0 this season at No. 5 singles for Nebraska-Kearney.
