Harding Women's Tennis Wins Fourth Straight, Defeats Northwest Missouri 5-4

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Harding women's tennis used two doubles victories and three singles wins to defeat Northwest Missouri 5-4 on Saturday and win its fourth straight match.

Harding earned doubles points at No. 1 and No. 3. Harding No. 1 team of Piper Huey and Laura Golubic, ranked No. 7 in the Central Region in doubles, defeated the ninth-ranked team of Lorena Rivas and Kaja Emersic, 8-2. Harding's No. 3 team of Arielle Butler and Emily Faulkner won 8-4.

Huey also won at No. 1 singles and Brittany Smyser won at No. 4. Harding led 4-3 and picked up the clinching point with Emily Faulkner winning 6-3, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.

Harding improved to 8-4 with the victory, and Northwest Missouri fell to 3-4.
