Harding Baseball Hosts Union on Tuesday in Non-Conference Action

SEARCY, Ark. – Harding Baseball will play a non-conference home game Tuesday at 3 p.m. against Union University of Jackson, Tennessee, in preparation for its final Great American Conference series of the season.

Harding is 21-25 overall and 10-14 at home this season. Union, a member of the NCAA Division II Gulf South Conference, is 19-24 overall and 8-8 on the road.

The two teams met on March 22 in Jackson with Harding winning 16-14. Bison senior Zac Stewart was 4-for-5 with five runs, a triple, a home run and three RBIs. He was also the game's winning pitcher. Senior Noah Chandler was 4-for-6 with an RBI.

Harding will host Arkansas Tech on Friday and Saturday for their final GAC series of the season. The Bisons are in seventh place in the conference standings with a 13-17 record. Arkansas Tech is tied for eighth in the standings at 11-19. Both Harding and Arkansas Tech are among five teams battling for the final three spots in the eight-team GAC Tournament.
