Men's Tennis
12 p.m. at Collin College – McKinney, Texas
  • Harding will play its third of three weekend matches Sunday against Collin College, the No. 8-ranked junior college program in the nation.
  • Harding is 1-1 on the season with an 8-1 loss to Seward County Community College, ranked third among junior colleges, and an 9-0 win Saturday over Texas Wesleyan, an NAIA team in its first season as a program.
  • Freshman Morgan Salvan is the only Harding player to have won both singles matches this season and is off to a great start. Including fall matches, the 6-foot-4 Frenchman is 10-2 overall.
  • Collin enters the match 0-1 with a 7-2 loss to NCAA Division II Cameron as its only match thus far.
  • Harding and Collin are meeting for the second time. Harding won 6-3 last season at Collin.
Women's Tennis
12 p.m. at Collin College – McKinney, Texas
  • Harding's women will also play their third match of the weekend against Collin College. Collin's women are ranked No. 12 nationally among junior colleges.
  • The Lady Bisons have won both of their first two matches, defeating Dallas Baptist 8-1 and Texas Wesleyan 9-0.
  • Harding has won 11 of its 12 singles matches over the weekend and all six doubles matches.
  • Collin opened its season Saturday with a 9-0 loss at NCAA Division II Midwestern State.
  • Harding and Collin are meeting for the second time, with Harding winning 8-1 last season at Collin.

  • Harding and Missouri Western will conclude their three-game series Sunday at Jerry Moore Field.
  • Harding won the opener Saturday 8-0 behind outstanding pitching from starter Austin Allen, who went six innings and allowed two hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Jackson Ward gave up only one hit over three innings to collect the save.
  • Chris Taylor led the Harding offense, going 2 for 4 with two doubles and a career-high tying four RBI. He was one of five Bisons with two hits in the game.
  • Missouri Western won game two 5-1. After going scoreless through the first 13 innings of the doubleheader, the Griffons scored one in the fifth inning and two in both the sixth and seventh innings.
  • Harding had four hits in game two. Tanner Smith started on the mound and allowed two earned runs in five innings with no walks and five strikeouts.
  • Harding's probable starter for Sunday's game is senior right-hander Reed Roberts, who is 8-8 in his career with a 5.25 ERA ... he will be making his 19th career start.
  • Harding and Missouri Western, an NCAA regional qualifier last season and member of the MIAA, have met 13 times on the diamond with the Griffons holding a 7-6 series lead.
