Today's Harding Sports Storylines

Harding men's tennis opens the day with a nonconference matchup against St. Edward's of the Division II Heartland Conference.
Harding's men are 6-5 overall and have won their last three straight. St. Edward's is 11-5, but has lost its last two.
Harding softball enters its Great American Conference series with Ouachita Baptist needing to win all four games to pull into a tie for first place in the conference standings. Southern Arkansas has concluded its weekend and is 10-2 in conference games. Harding enters its series 6-2. Southeastern Oklahoma is second at 9-3.
Harding junior Peyton Mills is off to a great start to the season. Mills is hitting .423 with two home runs and 12 RBI. She leads the team with a .456 on-base percentage and a .654 slugging percentage.
Freshman Amanda Fields currently has a team-best five game hitting streak, and Madi Trump has reached base in 13 straight games.
Harding baseball is looking to begin its climb back into GAC Tournament contention. The Bisons are 1-8 in GAC games, four games back of sixth place and the final GAC Tournament spot.
Ouachita is just one game ahead of Harding at 2-7 in GAC games.
Sophomore Connor Kelly is riding a team-best six-game hitting streak that has pushed his batting average to a team-best .345.
