Today's Harding Sports Storylines

Harding men's golf plays its second of five spring tournaments Monday and Tuesday at the Dave Falconer Classic, hosted by Arkansas Tech at Chamberlyne Country Club in Danville, Arkansas.
Harding's lineup for the tournament includes Mason Banger, Juan Luis Sanchez, Gregor MacIntosh, Cooper Dunn and Trevor Mellott. Alan Anderson will play as an individual.
Harding enters the tournament ranked 85th of more than 200 teams in Division II. Mason Banger is the 50th-ranked individual in Division II.
Harding softball looks to continue its success against Ouachita Baptist Monday after sweeping Sunday's doubleheader 6-5 and 3-0. With two victories Monday, Harding would move into a tie with Southern Arkansas for first place in the GAC standings.
Freshman Amanda Fields enters Monday's games with a team-best seven-game hitting streak, and Madi Trump has reached base in 15 consecutive games.
Harding baseball looks to bounce back from two one-run losses in the final game of its series against Ouachita Baptist.
Grant Guest enters with a seven-game hitting streak, and he and Connor Kelly have each reached in eight straight games.
Jackson Ward is expected to start on the mound for the Bisons against the Tigers. Ward is 1-1 with a 4.84 ERA. He has 18 strikeouts in 22 1/3 innings.
