Today's Harding Sports Storylines

Harding women's tennis will play its first of two matches against Henderson State. Today's match does not count as a conference match, only the second match counts in conference standings. Today's match does count on Harding's and Henderson State's regional record, which is used to select NCAA Division II Tournament teams.
Harding is 9-2 overall and coming off a 9-0 victory over Ouachita Baptist Wednesday in Searcy. Henderson State is 2-5 and coming off a 7-2 win over Southern Nazarene in its first Great American Conference match.
Harding junior Arisa Takanashi is on a 10-match singles winning streak. She is a perfect 10-0 in dual singles matches. Takanashi and doubles teammate Laura Golubic have combined to go 9-2 at No. 1 doubles and have won five straight matches.
