ALLEN, Texas – Harding senior Rylie Cox Evans and junior Hana Folse both earned singles victories, but Harding women's tennis fell 5-2 to 15th-ranked Midwestern State Saturday.

Evans and Folse won at No. 1 doubles, but Midwestern won the other two doubles matches to take the doubles point.

Evans upset 43rd-ranked Casie Curry 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 to collect Harding's first point. Folse won 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 over Lea Cizeron at No. 2.

Harding concludes its four-match weekend Sunday against 12th-ranked Angelo State.
