Harding's Men Win Four Events, Post Four Seconds at Hendrix Alumni Open

CONWAY, Ark. – Harding men's track and field had four event victories and four seconds Saturday at the Hendrix Alumni Open, the first outdoor meet of the season for the Bisons.

Dakarai Bush, a freshman from Tatum, Texas, was part of three event victories. He won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.66 and the 400-meter hurdles in 58.68. Bush was also the second leg on Harding's victorious 4x100-meter relay team. The team of Jamaric Hill, Bush, Krishaun Watson and Will Meredith finished in 42.65 seconds.

In the field events, Harding collected a victory by freshman Ben Ferris in the pole vault. Ferris cleared 4.60 meters (15 feet, 1 inch).

Harding's second-place finishes came from Meredith in the 100 meters (11.03), Jean-Louis Bouric in the 400 (50.88), Jonathon Wall in the pole vault (4.30m, 14-1.25) and Britton Kinser in the triple jump (12.62m, 41-5).

Harding's next action will come Tuesday and Wednesday. The team's decathletes will compete in the Harding University Spring Break Multi at Ted Lloyd Track.
