Harding Women's Track in Action in Missouri and Texas

SEARCY – Harding women's indoor track sent members north to Missouri and south to Texas to compete this weekend.

Harding sent seven student-athletes to the MSSU Lion Open & Multi in Joplin, Missouri, and all seven placed in the top five.

Junior Molly Passmore highlighted Harding's results with a victory in the 3,000 meters. Passmore's first career indoor victory came in 11:16.37. Senior Sydney Tabor was second in 11:23.81.

Harding had two of the top three finishers in the mile. Sophomore Jada Trice was second in 5:36.56 and freshman Ellie Fantauzzo was third in 5:46.66.
Sophomore Briana Hall placed third in the 800 meters in 2:31.47.

Freshman Alyssa Couey placed second in the 400 meters in 1:03.10, and freshman Miah Maples was fourth in 1:03.72.

Harding freshman Sofie Reitbauer and junior Lauren Shell competed in the pentathlon at the Charlie Thomas Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.

Reitbauer placed 11th with an NCAA provisional score of 3,283 points. Her season-high was 3,340 points at Washburn. Shell placed 16th with 2,993 points.
