SHAWNEE, Okla. – Harding women's track and field placed second of 10 teams at the Great American Conference Track and Field Championships, hosted by Oklahoma Baptist.
Harding scored 247 points in the meet, trailing only Oklahoma Baptist's 255.
The GAC also handed out its Elite and Distinguished Scholar Athlete awards. Harding's Jenna Akina, Brianna Hall, Miah Maples, Molly Passmore and Kylie Phillips received the Elite Scholar award as all five own 4.00 GPAs.
A total of 26 GAC standouts earned the Distinguished Scholar accolade. Harding's honorees were Jessica Davis, Sierra White and Brylan Williams.
