Harding Men's Track Holds at No. 5 in Divison II

SEARCY – Harding men's track and field remained at No. 5 in this week's NCAA Division II Men's Track and Field Rankings, presented by the United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association.

Harding has 100.55 points in the current rankings and has six individuals and one relay team ranked in an event top 10 in Division II.

Sophomore Vlad Malykhin leads Division II in the pole vault with a season-best clearance of 5.50m (18-0.50). Sophomore Yves Bilong is third in the triple jump with a mark of 15.55m (51-0.25).

Sophomore Kelmen de Carvalho is fourth in the heptathlon with a season-best score of 5,392 points.

Senior Dakarai Bush is fifth in the 400 meters in 47.40 seconds. Sophomore Anton Kopytko is sixth in the long jump with a mark of 7.47m (24-6.25), and junior Savian Bush is eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 7.97 seconds.

Harding's 4x400-meter relay team of Bryan Singleton, Tad Kirby, Savian Bush and Derick St. Jean is ninth with a time of 3:14.18.

Harding is in action this weekend at the Bearcat Invitational, hosted by Northwest Missouri State from Feb. 1-3.
