SEARCY, Ark. — Harding University fifth-year senior
Carmen Gunn has been named First Team All-Central Region by the United Soccer Coaches, the organization announced Thursday.
Gunn, a native of Benton, Kentucky, adds this honor to her impressive collection of accolades, which includes the Great American Conference Player of the Year award and First Team All-GAC recognition.
This season, Gunn started all 18 games for the Lady Bison, leading the team with seven goals and adding three assists. Over her four-year career, she played in 73 games, scoring 15 goals and notching seven assists.
Gunn's outstanding performance earned her the top spot in the Great American Conference in goals (7) and total points (17).
This prestigious honor marks Gunn as only the third Harding player to receive First Team All-Region recognition from the United Soccer Coaches, joining Lori Boren (2004) and Bethany Sutherland (2016).
