Harding Football Players Dugger, Price Earn AFCA All-America Honors

SEARCY — Harding University football players Jake Dugger and Gage Price were named All-Americans by the American Football Coaches Association on Wednesday.

Dugger, a senior right tackle from Searcy, Arkansas, earned First Team honors after anchoring the top-ranked offensive line for the Bisons. Harding led NCAA Division II in scoring offense (48.1 points per game) and rushing offense (413.9 yards per game), while ranking fourth in total offense (483.7 yards per game).

Price, a senior nose guard from Hamburg, Arkansas, was named to the Second Team after recording 37 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. He was a finalist for the Gene Upshaw Award, presented annually to the top offensive or defensive lineman in NCAA II, and finished fifth in the voting.

This marks the second consecutive season that Harding has had two AFCA All-America honorees. In 2023, defensive lineman Nathaniel Wallace and offensive lineman Hunter Willis both received the award.

Dugger and Price are the ninth and 10th Bisons to receive AFCA All-America honors. Harding finished the 2024 season with a 12-2 record, tied for the Great American Conference championship, and advanced to the national quarterfinals.

The AFCA All-America team is selected by a vote of the association's member coaches.
