LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Harding junior running back Andrew Miller has been named the recipient of the 2025 Darren McFadden Award, presented annually to the top collegiate running back in the state of Arkansas.
College Football Hall of Famer and two-time Heisman Trophy runner-up Darren McFadden personally selected Miller for the honor, which was announced by the Little Rock Touchdown Club.
Miller, a native of Searcy, Arkansas, was the engine behind a historic Harding offense that shattered NCAA all-division records in 2025. He finished the season with 2,048 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns, averaging a staggering 7.2 yards per carry.
With Miller leading the charge, the Bisons set new NCAA single-season records for rushing yards (6,943) and rushing touchdowns (88). The Harding offense averaged 433.9 rushing yards per game and 43.5 points per contest on their way to a 15-1 record and a berth in the NCAA Division II National Championship game.
The award is sponsored by Greg Hatcher and the Hatcher Agency.
This accolade adds to a growing list of postseason honors for Miller, who was also a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy and a consensus First Team All-American.
