Harding Football Lands Five on D2CCA All-Super Region 3 Teams

SEARCY – Five Harding University football players earned D2CCA All-Super Region 3 honors on Thursday. Senior offensive lineman Jake Dugger and his younger brother, junior safety Ty Dugger, both received First Team honors.

Jake Dugger, a Searcy, Arkansas native, has started all 13 games at right tackle. He anchors the top-ranked offensive line for a Harding team that leads NCAA Division II in scoring offense (51.3 points per game) and rushing offense (435.8 yards per game), while ranking third in total offense (506.1 yards per game).

Ty Dugger boasts impressive stats, with 37 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and four interceptions returned for 126 yards and a touchdown. This recognition follows his Second Team All-Super Region 3 honor in 2023.

Junior running back Braden Jay, senior defensive lineman Gage Price, and senior linebacker Clark Griffin earned Second Team honors. Jay, a Cabot, Arkansas native, has rushed for 1,064 yards on 84 carries, scoring 13 rushing touchdowns. He also caught six passes for 252 yards and four more touchdowns.

Price, a Hamburg, Arkansas native and Harding's starting nose guard, has recorded 35 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks.

Griffin, a Mountain Brook, Alabama native, led Harding with 100 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. Griffin was also a Second Team honoree in 2023.

The 12-1 Bisons, ranked No. 4 nationally in NCAA Division II, will face Ferris State on Saturday in Big Rapids, Michigan.
