The Harding women's tennis team competed for the second time in as many days on Thursday, falling to No. 24 Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi by a 7-0 score. The Lady Bisons are now 1-1 on the season. 

Mississippi College took the opening point by sweeping the doubles actions, taking two tight 6-4 set wins at No. 1 and No. 3. 

Romane Britt was in a tight 5-6 match before being forced to retire. Karli Roux won her opening set 6-2 before dropping the final two sets 5-7, 0-6. The remaining four matches were taken in straight sets by the Choctaws. 

The Lady Bisons will travel to Texas next weekend for four matches, beginning with an exhibition match versus Collin College on Friday at 10 a.m. in Plano.
