The Harding women's tennis team hosted Central Arkansas on Wednesday at the Elliott Tennis Complex and dropped the match 5-2, moving their record to 8-5 on the season with three additional wins over junior colleges.

Romane Britt and Karli Roux opened the match in doubles action with a 6-3 victory at No. 1.Britt and Roux combined for their team leading tenth victory of the season as a pair. The Bears would take the 1-0 after winning at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. 

After a singles victory moved the Bears' lead to 2-0, Britt picked up the victory at No. 4 due to a retirement of her opponent. Two matches later, Madison Stafford picked up the 6-4, 6-3 victory to give the Lady Bisons their second point of the match. UCA went on to win the remaining two matches and take the dual.

The Lady Bisons return to action on Sunday as they host Drury beginning at 1 p.m.
