Clark, Blankinship Receive CSC Academic All-America

SEARCY – Graduate student Anna Kay Clark and senior Kiera Blankinship of the Harding women's track and field team earned Academic All-America honors from College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. Clark landed on the First Team with Blankinship on the Second Team.

Clark is an information systems major from Hoover, Alabama, and earned her second Academic All-America honor, taking Second Team honors last season. She had a 3.98 undergraduate GPA and 4.00 GPA in grad school. In 2024, Clark earned her third All-America honor in the javelin throw, placing eighth at the outdoor national championship with a school-record throw of 156 feet, 3 inches.
Blankinship is a psychology major from Chickasha, Oklahoma, with a perfect 4.00 GPA. It was her first Academic All-America honor and came just after she earned Second Team All-America in the high jump at the outdoor national championships. Blankinship cleared 5 feet, 5.25 inches to place 10th nationally.
Clark and Blankinship are Harding's sixth and seventh Academic All-Americans in the 2023-24 school year.
Blankinship joins Clark as one of eight Harding female athletes to earn both All-America and Academic All-America in their college careers.
The two honors mark the 14th and 15th Academic All-America honors for Harding women's track and field and cross-country.
