De Ruiter's Impressive Run: Becomes Third Bison to Reach Central Regional Semifinals

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Harding men's tennis team had a remarkable performance at the ITA Central Regional Tournament in Topeka, Kansas, with several players achieving notable milestones.

Singles Highlights

Cas de Ruiter made history by becoming the third Harding player to reach the Central Regional semifinals, defeating several opponents along the way, including the No. 2 seed Phil Exner of Ouachita Baptist.
Luis Agullo and Adrian Solorzano also reached the quarterfinals in Flight A.
Harding's Hunter DeMunbrun reached the quarterfinals in Flight B.

Doubles Highlights

The duo of Cas de Ruiter and Adrian Solorzano became the third Harding doubles team to reach the semifinals at the ITA Central Regional, defeating teams from Southern Arkansas, Emporia State, and Ouachita Baptist.
Florian Gayme and Cian Mikkelsen also reached the Flight A doubles quarterfinals, demonstrating the team's strength in doubles competition.
DeMunbrun and Edoardo D'Arrigo reached the finals of Flight B doubles.
