SEARCY - Harding fifth-year senior Maddox Long has been named to the D2 Baseball Preseason All-America Team and to the NCBWA Preseason All-Central Region Team.

Long, a native of Morrilton, Arkansas, was listed on the Second Team All-America list after posting a 6-1 record with a 3.33 ERA and 107 strikeouts in 105.1 innings.

Long earned numerous postseason honors in 2024, including ABCA Central Region Pitcher of the Year and Third Team ABCA All-America.

Long and the Bisons open the season on Jan. 31 at home against Missouri Western.
