SEARCY – For the first time since 2023, the Harding softball team was ranked in this weeks National Fast Pitch Coaches Association Division II Poll. The Lady Bisons came in at No. 21.

Harding is off to one of its best starts in program history. The Lady Bisons are 9-1 with wins over No. 12 Mississippi College and No. 7 Augustana. The last time Harding started 9-1 was in 2018.

As a team this season, Harding is hitting .387 with 105 hits, 17 doubles and 10 homeruns. The pitching staff also has a 1.18 ERA and opponents are hitting .224.

Harding will be back in action this weekend when it takes part in the NCAA D-II Battle in Branson, Missouri. The Lady Bisons will open the battle Friday at 11 a.m., against McKendree.
