SEARCY — Four members of the Harding University softball team have been selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their elite performances both on the field and in the classroom.
Seniors Logan Ringel, Tori Turner, and Lana Danielson, alongside junior Alexis Boswell, earned the distinction for the Lady Bisons. The award honors student-athletes who maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher while serving as primary contributors to their varsity squads.
The Honorees

Logan Ringel (Gardner, Kansas): A senior exercise science major, Ringel carries a 3.85 GPA. On the diamond, the outfielder played in all 51 games, making 42 starts. She posted a .307 batting average with 35 hits, 16 runs scored, and two triples, while anchoring the outfield with an elite .988 fielding percentage.

Tori Turner (Valley Center, Kansas): A senior majoring in integrated marketing communications, Turner holds a 3.70 GPA. She started 50 of Harding's 51 games in the outfield, batting .306. Turner proved to be a major threat on the basepaths, leading the team with 16 stolen bases on 17 attempts while scoring 31 runs.

Lana Danielson (Garland, Texas): A senior finance major with a 3.79 GPA, Danielson started 48 games for the Lady Bisons. She batted .274 on the season, showcasing her power with eight doubles, three home runs, and 19 RBIs.

Alexis Boswell (Forney, Texas): A junior management major, Boswell maintains a 3.58 GPA. As Harding's primary catcher, she started all 51 games, hitting .230 with nine doubles, two home runs, and 19 RBIs. Defensively, she recorded a .984 fielding percentage and led the team with 256 putouts.
Academic All-District Consideration
To qualify for the nomination, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, and compete in at least 90% of their team's contests or start in at least 66% of them. All four Harding representatives comfortably cleared these standards during the 2026 campaign.
