Harding Men's Tennis Jumps to Eighth in National Rankings

SEARCY, Ark. — The Harding University men's tennis team jumped into the eighth spot in the latest ITA Division II national team rankings, released Wednesday.

Harding, competing in the Great American Conference, boasts a 6-3 record this season. The Bisons are one of two GAC teams ranked in the top 50, with Ouachita Baptist coming in at 38th.

Individually, Harding's Cas de Ruiter is ranked ninth in singles with a 10-8 record, while teammate Adrian Solorzano is ranked 26th with an 11-5 record.

In doubles, de Ruiter and Solorzano are ranked 14th with a 6-9 record. Additionally, Florian Gayme and Cian Mikkelsen of Harding are ranked 48th with an 8-4 record.
