SEARCY — Harding concluded its regular season on a sour note Saturday, falling to Arkansas Tech 4-1 in the final game of a three-game series at Jerry Moore Field. The Wonderboys capitalized on an error in the bottom of the second inning to take an early 2-0 lead. With runners on first and second, Grant Jones reached on a throwing error. Both Sawyer Duddleston and Kirby Jenkins scored on the play.

Arkansas Tech added two more runs in the bottom of the third. Brendyn Bard singled to shallow right field, driving in Christian Olea. Jenkins then doubled to left-center, scoring Bard, who had advanced to second on the play and moved to third on a fielding error by Harding.

Harding's lone run came in the top of the fifth when Chance Resetich blasted his third home run of the season to left-center. Resetich led the Bisons offensively, going 3-for-3 on the day. Harrison Griffith also had a multi-hit game, going 2-for-3, including a double.

Despite tallying eight hits, the Bisons struggled to string them together and capitalize on scoring opportunities, leaving seven runners stranded on base. The Wonderboys also recorded eight hits, with Luke Ray leading the way with three. Bard and Jenkins each added two hits for Arkansas Tech.

Harding will now look ahead to the GAC Tournament. Their seed and first-round opponent will be determined later today following the conclusion of all conference games.
