SEARCY, Ark. - Following a record-breaking junior campaign, Harding University third baseman Logan Lacey has been named a 2026 Preseason Second-Team All-American by D2 Baseball, the organization announced Monday.

Lacey, a senior from North Richland Hills, Texas, enters the 2026 season on the heels of a historic 2025 performance where he helped lead Harding to its first-ever Great American Conference (GAC) Tournament championship and a No. 30 national ranking.

Last season, Lacey posted a .338 batting average and ranked second in the GAC with 19 home runs. He led the conference in runs scored (70) and drove in 58 RBIs, earning consensus All-Region honors. His power was a driving force behind a Harding offense that set a school record with 76 home runs.

The Bisons, who were picked to finish second in the GAC Preseason Coaches Poll, open the 2026 season on Friday, Jan. 30, weather permitting.
