RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC baseball weekly awards for the sixth week of the season. Southwestern Oklahoma State's Kotaro Wakui earned Player of the Week and Harding's Ryan Romolo claimed Pitcher of the Week.

#theGAC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Kotaro Wakui, RF, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Jr., Niigata, Japan
Wakui went 7-for-9 and reached base a total of 11 times in the Bulldogs' series sweep of Southern Nazarene. He doubled, tripled, drove in three runs and scored three runs in the opener. He went 3-for-3 in game two with two runs scored in game two. In the finale, he went 2-for-3 with a stolen base.

#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Ryan Romolo, SP, Harding, Fr., Northlake, Texas
Romolo improved to 4-0 and lowered his ERA to 2.83 after he shut down Henderson State on Friday. He threw a one-hit shutout in a 6-0 win, the Bisons' lone win in the series. He did not allow a hit until a single with one out in the sixth inning. He matched his season high with nine strikeouts.
