VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Harding Lady Bisons wrapped up the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday with two more Second Team All-America performances, as senior Cadence Sansom and senior Hanna Onufriieva each placed among the nation's top 12 in their respective field events.
With the results from the final day at the Virginia Beach Sports Center, Harding concluded the meet with four Second Team All-America honors, showcasing the program's consistent ability to compete on the national stage.
Sansom Matches School Record
Senior Cadence Sansom highlighted the Saturday session by tying her own indoor school record in the pole vault. Sansom cleared 4.07m (13-04.25) to finish 10th overall in a high-caliber field.
The performance earned Sansom her third career Second Team All-America honor and her second in as many years at the indoor championships. Her 10th-place finish matches the historical production of the Harding vault program, which continues to be a point of pride for the Lady Bisons.
Onufriieva Strong in Triple Jump
On the runway, Hanna Onufriieva delivered a 12th-place finish in the triple jump to secure her own All-America hardware. Onufriieva's best leap of the day came on her second attempt, measuring 12.06m (39-06.75).
Like Sansom, Onufriieva concludes her indoor season as a three-time Second Team All-American, having also achieved the feat during the 2025 indoor and outdoor campaigns. Her consistency in the horizontal jumps has provided the Lady Bisons with a reliable scoring threat at the national level over the past two seasons.
