TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its updated national rankings Wednesday, and the Harding women's tennis program is well-represented among the nation's elite.

Senior Karli Roux and freshman Brooke Coffman vaulted to No. 5 in the Division II National Doubles Rankings, while Roux maintained her status as a premier singles threat, coming in at No. 38 nationally.

National Top-Five Duo

The ascent to the No. 5 spot marks the highest national ranking for a Harding doubles pairing in recent program history. Roux and Coffman have posted an 11-4 record on the season, highlighted by a dominant week in Texas where they defeated then-No. 7 Yona Bancarel and Natalia Gorzny of UT Tyler.

The duo's consistency at the No. 1 flight has made them the highest-ranked pairing in the Great American Conference and one of the most feared tandems in the Central Region. They sit just behind pairings from Nova Southeastern, Midwestern State, Barry, and Catawba in the national order.

Roux Anchors Singles Rankings

In addition to her doubles success, Karli Roux remains a fixture in the national singles conversation, slotted at No. 38. Roux has played all of her dual matches at the No. 1 position this spring, accumulating an 8-2 overall record.

Her ranking is bolstered by a signature straight-sets victory over UT Tyler's Yona Bancarel, who is currently ranked No. 11 in the same ITA release. Roux remains the only player from the Great American Conference represented in the national singles Top 75.

Regional Recognition

The GAC presence in the doubles rankings also includes Southeastern Oklahoma State's Milana Voloshyn and Emilia O'Neill, who entered the rankings at No. 28.

The Lady Bisons (2-4) will showcase their nationally ranked talent at home next week. Harding is set to host Christian Brothers on Tuesday, March 10, at the Elliott Tennis Complex. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
