BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Senior
Karli Roux made history Thursday as she became the first Harding Lady Bison to be named the Great American Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year, headlining the league's 2026 postseason honors.
Roux, a Cape Town, South Africa native, was a unanimous First Team All-GAC selection. Her Player of the Year nod marks a milestone for the Harding program, which had previously seen several First Team selections but never the conference's top individual prize.
The honor caps a decorated career for Roux, who earned her third consecutive All-GAC First Team selection. She previously garnered First Team honors in 2024 and 2025, and was a Second Team selection as a freshman in 2023. Roux finished the 2026 regular season with a 17-5 singles record, including a dominant 13-4 mark at the No. 1 position.
Joining Roux on the podium was freshman
Brooke Coffman, who earned Second Team All-GAC honors. Coffman, a Naperville, Illinois native, provided a steady presence for the Lady Bisons in her debut season, including a pivotal straight-sets victory at No. 2 singles in the regular-season finale against Arkansas Tech.
The Lady Bisons enter the GAC Tournament at Memorial Park this weekend as the No. 3 seed.
