SEARCY — Harding University head softball coach Ashley (Parker) Reeves has been selected for induction into the Texas Tech Hall of Fame, the Texas Tech Athletics Department announced.

Reeves, who starred for the Red Raiders from 2004 to 2007, was a cornerstone of consistency and speed throughout her collegiate playing career in Lubbock, Texas.

A four-year starter, Reeves began her career behind the plate at catcher before transitioning to centerfield, where she anchored Texas Tech's defense for her final three seasons. She remains the only player in Red Raider softball history to earn All-Big 12 honors in four separate seasons, garnering first-team accolades as a freshman (2004) and senior (2007), alongside second-team selections in 2005 and 2006. She was also named an NFCA All-Midwest Region second-team honoree in 2007.

"Parker was the definition of consistent during her four years with the Red Raiders," Texas Tech Athletics said in its official release. "Her combination of speed and bat-to-ball ability made her one of the premier leadoff hitters in Texas Tech history."

During her time in Lubbock, Reeves established herself as one of the most prolific baserunners in program history. She stole 78 bases during her career, highlighted by a 34-stolen-base campaign in 2006—the first 30-plus stolen base season in Texas Tech history. She still ranks second all-time in school history for career stolen bases.

Reeves compiled a .312 career batting average and is one of just seven Red Raiders to reach the 200-career-hit milestone. She finished her career fifth in school history in at-bats (642) and still ranks 10th all-time in runs scored (112), accumulating 15 doubles, three triples, a home run, and 33 RBIs.

Following her stellar playing career, Reeves entered the coaching ranks as an assistant at Abilene Christian in 2011 before taking her first head coaching position at Fort Lewis College in 2020.

She recently wrapped up her fifth season at the helm of the Harding softball program in 2026. Over her seven seasons as a college head coach, Reeves holds an overall record of 216-125, including a dominant 185-91 mark at Harding.

Under her leadership, the Lady Bisons have achieved:

• Two NCAA Regional appearances

• A 114-51 record in Great American Conference (GAC) regular-season play

• Three top-three GAC regular-season finishes

• Three trips to the GAC Tournament semifinals

Induction ceremonies for the Texas Tech Hall of Fame class will take place September 25-26 in Lubbock.
