Lady Bison Softball Hosts East Central this Weekend

Harding

- Harding heads into the weekend with an 11-8 overall record and a 4-4 GAC record.

- Harding is coming off a GAC series at Southeastern Oklahoma. The Lady Bisons went 1-3 against the Savage Storm. Harding fell on the first day of the series 7-6 and 14-2. The Lady Bisons won the first game on day two 6-4 before falling 7-1 in the second game. Brookelynn Moon had seven hits and drove in seven in the series. Kimmy Hendricks hit .471 with eight hits and five RBI.

- Harding has a .321 team batting average that ranks third in the GAC. Kinsey Beck leads the Lady Bisons, hitting .408 with 20 hits and 10 RBI. Brookelynn Moon is hitting .396 with 21 hits, six doubles and a team leading three homeruns. Moon has also driven in 16 which ranks tied for sixth in the GAC.

- Amber Rollins leads the Lady Bisons in the circle with a 2.79 ERA which ranks eighth in the GAC. In her 11 appearances, she has a GAC leading 57 strikeouts.

- It will be Harding's second GAC series at home. The Lady Bisons won the series against Southern Nazarene 3-1.

East Central

- East Central is located in Ada, Okla., and has an enrollment of 5,727.

- East Central heads into the series with a 13-8 overall record and a 5-3 GAC record.

- The Lady Tigers are coming off a home series against Arkansas Tech last weekend. The teams split their series 2-2. Arkansas Tech won the first game 5-4. East Central won the second and third games 8-2 and 11-3 and Arkansas Tech won the fourth game 13-0.

- East Central leads the GAC with a .338 team batting average. They are led by Autumn Suydam who leads the GAC in hitting with a .527 batting average. In 20 games, she has 29 hits, five doubles and one triple. She has scored 17 runs and drove in six.

- Leah Tigert leads the GAC in hits with 34 and RBI with 25.

- East Central is led in the circle by Nicole Nordie who ranks second in the GAC with a 0.98 ERA in eight appearances. Lacey Paulk ranks sixth in the GAC with a 2.59 ERA.
