Harding
- Harding will be playing its final home series against Ouachita Baptist on Friday and Saturday. The Lady Bisons have already sealed a place in the GAC Tournament but is still fighting for seeding. Currently Harding is in sixth place. Harding will have a bye week next weekend before the GAC Tournament, May 1-3.
- Harding heads into the series with a 27-22 overall record and a 19-17 GAC record. The Lady Bisons are 16-4 at home this season which is the best record by a GAC team.
- Harding is coming off a GAC series against Henderson State last weekend. Henderson State took three of the four games. Amanda Berdon led Harding in the series. She hit .400 with four hits, three runs and had two homeruns and three RBI. The highlight of the tournament came in the 9-5 win last Saturday when Courtney Derrick hit Harding's first grand slam.
- Harding has a .317 team batting average that ranks third in the GAC and 53rd in NCAA Division II. The Lady Bisons have nine players that are hitting over .300. Harding is led by Courtney Derrick who is hitting .390 which ranks ninth in the GAC.
- Courtney Derrick has a team-high 69 hits and ranks tied for first in the GAC. She also leads the team in stolen bases with 18, ranking her fourth in the GAC. Derrick leads the team in multiple hit games with 23. In 15 games she had two hits and in eight games she had three hits.
- Amber Rollins leads the Lady Bisons in the circle with a 2.74 ERA which ranks fifth in the GAC. Rollins ranks third in the GAC in wins with 15. She also leads the GAC and ranks 16th in NCAA Division II in strikeouts with 164.
- Amanda Berdon has a 13 game hitting streak heading into the weekend which is the longest by a Lady Bison this season.
Ouachita Baptist
- Ouachita Baptist is located in Arkadelphia, Ark., and has an enrollment of 1,543.
- The Lady Tigers head into the weekend with a 16-30 overall record and an 11-21 GAC record. Ouachita Baptist will be fighting for the last spot in the GAC tournament. The Lady Tigers are currently in the eighth spot in the GAC standings among teams that are eligible for the tournament.
- Ouachita Baptist is coming off a series split at home against Arkansas Tech last weekend. The Lady Tigers took the bookend games of the series, winning 4-0 and 5-4.
- Ouachita Baptist has never been swept in a GAC series. The Lady Tigers have won at least one game in each of the GAC series.
