HU Men's Tennis Opens Road Trip with 6-1 Victory at UAPB

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Harding men's tennis won for the third time in its last four matches, opening a three-match road trip with a 6-1 victory over NCAA Division I opponent Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday.

The Bisons (6-5) cruised to victory in all three doubles matches. Jon Mark Rowden and Carlos Crisostomo won 7-5 at No. 1 singles, the team's fourth victory. Neto Cacace and Adrian Torrico won 6-1 at No. 2 for their team-best seventh victory together. Josh Hurt and Brandon Hogland teamed for the first time this season and won 6-0 at No. 3.

Harding also won five of the six singles matches. Crisostomo won 6-2, 6-3 in his first collegiate match at No. 1. Hogland won his fourth straight singles match with a three-set victory at No. 3. Torrico (No. 3) and Cacace (No. 4) both won 6-0, 6-0, and Hurt won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 for his fourth straight singles victory.

Harding's road trip continues tomorrow with matches in Memphis, Tennessee, against Christian Brothers and LeMoyne-Owen.
