HARDING

- Harding will continue Great American Conference action on Friday and Saturday when it travels to Weatherford, Oklahoma to face Southwestern Oklahoma in a four-game series. The doubleheader on Friday is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. and the doubleheader on Saturday is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.

- The Lady Bisons head into the series with a 12-20 record. Harding has won four of its last five games and six of its last nine games.

- With a series sweep, the Lady Bisons will even its road record which is currently 2-6. Harding has played 12 of the last 14 games at home.

- The Lady Bisons are led by sophomore Kimmy Hendricks who is hitting .410 to rank seventh in the GAC. Fellow sophomore Mackenzie Jones is second on the team in hitting with a .382 batting average.

- Senior pitcher Amber Rollins leads Harding's pitching staff with a 2.81 ERA which is fourth in the GAC. She has made 15 starts this season, has thrown 11 complete games and has one shutout. She ranks fourth in the GAC in strikeouts with 76.

- Harding ranks second in the GAC in doubles with 49. Marley Edwards ranks third with 10 and Jones ranks tied for fourth with nine.

- Hendricks ranks second in the GAC in on base percentage (.553) and tied for fifth in runs scored (31). She also has been walked 26 times this season ranking her tied for the most in the GAC.

- Harding ranks sixth in the GAC with a .303 team batting average. The Lady Bisons have recorded 233 hits this season ranking them sixth in the GAC.

- Harding's pitching staff ranks sixth in the GAC with a 4.15 ERA. The Lady Bisons haven't given up very many extra base hits this season. Harding has only given up 29 doubles this season which is the third fewest in the GAC. It also has given up three triples which is tied for second in the GAC. Harding has given up 17 home runs this season which is the fewest in the GAC.

- Harding has recorded 52 stolen bases this season which is the second most in the GAC. Hendricks hasn't been thrown out this season as she ranks second in the GAC with 19 stolen bases. Courtney Derrick ranks third in the GAC with 18 and Brookelynn Moon ranks eighth with nine.

- Hendricks has stolen 22 straight bases without getting caught dating back to last season which set a new GAC record. Courtney Derrick stole 21 straight from 2014-15. Derrick was caught stealing in the second Christian Brothers game on March 11 which ended her streak.
 

SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA

- Southwestern Oklahoma heads into the series with a 5-23 record and a 1-15 GAC record. The Bulldogs GAC win came against Northwestern Oklahoma 6-5 in Alva, Oklahoma.

- Southwestern Oklahoma is coming off a four-game series against Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Arkansas. The Bulldogs fell 9-0, 3-2, 10-2 and 5-0.

- It will be Southwestern Oklahoma's first home games in eight games. The Bulldogs are 1-11 at home this season.

- Southwestern Oklahoma has a .299 team batting average that ranks seventh in the GAC. The Bulldogs rank 11th in the GAC with a 6.08 team ERA.

- Southwestern Oklahoma is led on the season by Maci Brown who leads the GAC with a .448 batting average. Brown has recorded 26 hits, five doubles and two home runs. She also has 11 RBIs on the season. Adrienne Martinez is hitting .358 and leads the team with 29 hits and six home runs. Ashley Jones is hitting .328 and leads the team with 19 RBIs.

- Rileigh Ricken leads the Bulldogs in the circle with a 4.57 ERA. Ricken has a 3-9 record in 19 appearances. She has also thrown six complete games this season.   

SERIES

- Harding leads the series between the two teams 4-0.

- When the teams met in Searcy last season, the Lady Bisons won 3-0, 7-3, 4-1 and 10-2.

- Against the Bulldogs last season, Courtney Derrick led Harding, hitting .563 in 16 at bats. She had nine hits, four RBIs and four runs scored. Amanda Berdon hit .455 and Carolyn Clayton hit .417. Both players each had a home run and five hits in the series.

- Amber Rollins went 2-0 against Southwestern Oklahoma as she didn't allow an earned run in three appearances. Rollins pitched 14 1/3 innings, gave up 14 hits and struck out 15 batters.
