HARDING

- Harding will take on Delta State on Tuesday when it travels to Cleveland, Mississippi for a non-conference doubleheader that starts at 2 p.m.

- The Lady Bisons head into the doubleheader with a 21-25 overall record.  Harding has a Great American Conference series bye this weekend as it wrapped up its GAC regular season schedule last weekend. The Lady Bisons went 3-1 at Ouachita Baptist and sealed a spot in the GAC Tournament held April 30 – May 2nd in Bentonville, Arkansas.

- Harding is 9-7 on the road this season. The Lady Bisons have won seven of the last their last eight road games.

- Against Ouachita Baptist last weekend, Harding was led by Marley Edwards who hit .500. She had six hits, two doubles, one home run, three RBIs and scored four runs. Amber Rollins went 1-1 in the circle and had a 0.50 ERA in three appearances. She pitched 14 innings, gave up nine hits and struck out nine.

- The Lady Bisons are led by sophomore Mackenzie Jones who is hitting .375. Jones has 54 hits, nine doubles, two triples, two home runs and leads the team with 31 RBIs.

- Senior pitcher Amber Rollins leads Harding's pitching staff with a 2.45 ERA which is second in the GAC. She has made 23 starts, thrown 18 complete games and has one shutout. She ranks fourth in the GAC in strikeouts with 113.

- Harding ranks sixth in the GAC with a .307 team batting average. The Lady Bisons have recorded 391 hits this season ranking them fourth in the GAC. Harding also ranks fifth in the GAC with a .397 on base percentage. The Lady Bisons lead the GAC in doubles with 74 and stolen bases with 95.

- Harding's pitching staff ranks third in the GAC with a 3.48 ERA. The Lady Bisons have only given up 23 home runs which is the fewest in the GAC.

DELTA STATE

- Delta State, who is a NCAA Division II member of the Gulf South Conference, heads into the doubleheader with a 24-19 overall record.  The Lady Statesmen are coming off a 2-1 conference series win over Shorter at home. Delta State won the first game 5-2, dropped the second game 9-1 and won the third game 3-1.

- The Lady Statesmen are 8-5 at home this season.

- Delta State heads into Tuesday with a .317 team batting average and is led individually by Amber Adcock who is hitting .436. She leads the team in hits with 61, tied for a team-high five home runs and leads the team in RBIs with 32.

- The Lady Statesmen have a 4.78 team ERA and are led by Shayna Beaver who has a 2.73 ERA. Beaver has a 10-5 record in 21 appearances. She has thrown eight complete games and has two shutouts.

SERIES

- Delta State leads the series 4-2.

- In Searcy earlier this season, the Lady Statesmen won both games of a doubleheader winning 4-1 and 11-7. Mackenzie Jones hit .714 for Harding. She had five hits, one home run and two RBIs. Amber Rollins went 0-1 against the Lady Statesmen and recorded a 2.00 ERA. She threw a complete game, walked four and struck out seven.
