HARDING
- Harding is set to host Texas A&M-Commerce on Thursday in a non-conference doubleheader that starts at 2:30 p.m. It is the last regular season games the Lady Bisons will play at home.
- The Lady Bisons head into the doubleheader with a 22-26 overall record. Harding has a Great American Conference series bye this weekend as it wrapped up its GAC regular season schedule last weekend. The Lady Bisons went 3-1 at Ouachita Baptist and sealed a spot in the GAC Tournament held April 30 – May 2nd in Bentonville, Arkansas with a 15-15 GAC record.
- Harding is 11-9 at home this season. Kimmy Hendricks leads the Lady Bisons at home this season, hitting .377. In 53 at bats, she has 20 hits, seven doubles, four home runs and 21 runs scored. Hendricks is tied with Marley Edwards for the most RBIs with 16.
- Harding is coming off a non-conference doubleheader at Delta State on Tuesday. The two teams split as the Lady Bisons won the first game 6-4 but dropped the second game 4-1. Carolyn Clayton had four hits in the two games. She had two doubles, a home run and two runs scored.
- The Lady Bisons are led on the season by sophomore Mackenzie Jones who is hitting .373. Jones has 56 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, two home runs and leads the team with 33 RBIs.
- Senior pitcher Amber Rollins leads Harding's pitching staff with a 2.39 ERA which is second in the GAC. She has made 24 starts, thrown 19 complete games and has one shutout. She ranks fourth in the GAC in strikeouts with 114.
- Harding ranks sixth in the GAC with a .305 team batting average. The Lady Bisons have recorded 405 hits this season ranking them fourth in the GAC. Harding also ranks fifth in the GAC with a .394 on base percentage. The Lady Bisons lead the GAC in doubles with 79 and stolen bases with 97.
- Harding's pitching staff ranks third in the GAC with a 3.43 ERA. The Lady Bisons have only given up 23 home runs which is the fewest in the GAC.
TEXAS A&M-COMMERCE
- Texas A&M-Commerce, who is a NCAA Division II member of the Lone Star Conference, heads into the doubleheader with a 25-23 overall record. This is its first year of collegiate softball for the Lions.
- The Lions are coming off a non-conference doubleheader against GAC foe Southern Arkansas on Tuesday. Texas A&M-Commerce won both games 10-6 and 9-7.
- The Lions are 6-10 in road games this season. Texas A&M-Commerce is 2-6 in its last eight road games.
- The Lions are led by Magen Lynch who is hitting .359 in 45 games. She leads the team in hits with 52. December Rivers is hitting .325 and leads the team in doubles with 16 and RBIs with 46.
