HARDING

- Harding will wrap up its series with Arkansas Tech on Tuesday in a Great American Conference doubleheader that starts 2 p.m., at the Harding Softball Field. The two teams played two of its four-game series March 24th in Russellville, Arkansas. The two teams split as the Lady Bisons won the first game 5-1 and the Golden Suns won the second game 5-1.

- The Lady Bisons head into the doubleheader with a 16-20 record. Harding has won eight of its last nine games and nine of its last 12 games. The Lady Bisons are 10-10 in GAC games this season and are currently in fifth place in the GAC standings.

- Harding holds a 9-5 overall record at home this season and the Lady Bisons are 4-2 in GAC games. Harding's GAC losses came against Arkansas-Monticello 5-4 and Northwestern Oklahoma 7-1. The Lady Bisons have won its last three conference games at home as they have all come against Northwestern Oklahoma.

- Harding is coming off a GAC series sweep against Southwestern Oklahoma last weekend. The Lady Bisons won 17-8, 13-3, 12-6 and 10-2. In the series, Harding had 47 hits, scored 52 runs and drew 37 walks. The Lady Bisons were led by Courtney Derrick who hit .500 with 5 hits and seven runs scored. She also had a three-run homer and had seven RBIs. Derrick also had six stolen bases.

- The Lady Bisons are led by sophomore Mackenzie Jones who is hitting .395.  Fellow sophomore Kimmy Hendricks is right behind her, hitting .392.

- Senior pitcher Amber Rollins leads Harding's pitching staff with a 2.81 ERA which is fourth in the GAC. She has made 18 starts, thrown 13 complete games and has one shutout. She ranks third in the GAC in strikeouts with 89.

- Harding ranks fourth in the GAC with a .322 team batting average. The Lady Bisons have recorded 320 hits this season ranking them fourth in the GAC. Harding also ranks third in the GAC with a .412 on base percentage.

- Harding's pitching staff ranks fourth in the GAC with a 3.91 ERA. The Lady Bisons haven't given up very many extra base hits this season. Harding has only given up 34 doubles this season which is tied for second with the fewest in the GAC. It also has given up four triples which is tied for third in the GAC. Harding has given up 19 home runs this season which is the second fewest in the GAC.

- In GAC games this season, the Lady Bisons are led by Hendricks who is hitting .368 in 57 at bats. She has 21 hits, four doubles and two home runs with 10 RBIs. Amanda Berdon has driven in the most runs with 17 and has a .356 batting average. Amber Rollins holds a 3.20 ERA and a 7-5 record. In 15 appearances, she has thrown eight complete games and has struck out 52 batters.

- Harding ranks first in the GAC in doubles with 65. Brookelynn Moon, Marley Edwards and Hendricks are all tied for fourth in the GAC with 10.

- Hendricks ranks second in the GAC in on base percentage (.538) and leads the GAC with 38 runs scored.

- The Lady Bisons lead the GAC in drawn walks with 139. Hendricks ranks second in the GAC with 30 walks, Carolyn Clayton ranks third with 21 and Marley Edwards is tied for seventh with 16.

- Harding has already blown by the school record (56) set last season as it has recorded 82 stolen bases this season which leads the GAC. Derrick has stolen 24-of-25 bases and Hendricks has stolen 20-of-21 bases. Derrick leads the GAC and Hendricks ranks third. Jessica Greene and Moon are tied for ninth with each having 10.

- Hendricks stole 23 straight bases before being caught in the second game of the doubleheader against Southwestern Oklahoma on Friday. Hendricks broke the GAC record of 21 straight set by Lady Bison Courtney Derrick who stole 21 straight from 2014-15. Derrick was caught stealing in the second Christian Brothers game on March 11 which ended her streak.

- Jones leads the Lady Bisons with 13 multiple hit games. Eleven times this season she has recorded two hit games and two times she had three hits. Jones also leads in multiple RBI games with eight.

- Courtney Derrick has a 10 game hitting streak heading into Tuesday. She passed Jones who had a nine game hitting streak earlier this season. Harding's record holder is Amanda Berdon who had a 13 game hitting streak last season.

- Hendricks has reached base in the last 13 games which is the second longest streak by the Lady Bisons this season. Carolyn Clayton reached base in 14 straight games earlier this season. Clayton is Harding's record holder who reached base in 19 straight games last season.

NO. 23 ARKANSAS TECH

- Arkansas Tech, who is ranked No. 23 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Poll, heads into Tuesday with a 28-10 overall record. The Golden Suns are 15-7 in GAC action this season and are currently in fourth place in the GAC standings.

- Arkansas Tech is coming off a 3-1 GAC series loss at Northwestern Oklahoma over the weekend. The Golden Suns won the first game 7-1 but dropped the last three, 6-4, 3-2 and 6-5

- Arkansas Tech is 8-6 in road games this season and 12-8 away from its home field.

- The Golden Suns head into the doubleheader with a .321 team batting average to rank fifth in the GAC. Arkansas Tech leads the GAC in slugging percentage (.545), runs scored (252), hits (343), RBIs (227) and home runs (60).

- The Golden Suns are led by Whitney Robinson who has a .402 batting average. She leads the team in hits with 41 and doubles with eight. Kambri Hill is second on the team with a .376 batting average. She leads the team in home runs with 10. Ashley Savage, Robinson and Hill are tied with a team-high 29 RBIs this season. Courtney Colunga has driving in 28 runs and Shanna Davidson has driving in 26.  

- Arkansas Tech has a 3.11 team ERA to rank second in the GAC. Four of the Golden Suns rank in the top 10 in the GAC in ERA. Kelsey Barker has a 2.37 ERA in 13 appearances to rank second in the GAC. Sydnee Clark ranks third with a 2.77 ERA and has an 8-2 record. Morgan Vaughan ranks fifth with a 2.84 ERA and Victoria Huie ranks ninth with a 3.26 ERA.    

SERIES

- Harding leads the series between the two teams 4-2.

- In the two games against Arkansas Tech this season, Kimmy Hendricks had a .714 batting average in 7 at bats. She had five hits and one RBI.  Brookelynn Moon hit .429 with three RBIs and two doubles.

- Amber Rollins got Harding's win as she only allowed one earned run. Rollins struck out three in seven innings of work.
