HARDING

- Harding will play its final home Great American Conference series Friday and Saturday as they host Henderson State in a four-game series. The doubleheader on Friday is scheduled for a 2 p.m., start and the doubleheader on Saturday will start at 12 p.m.

- The Lady Bisons head into the weekend with an 18-20 record. Harding has won 10 of its last 11 games and 11 of its last 14 games. The Lady Bisons are 12-10 in GAC games this season and are currently in fifth place in the GAC standings. The top eight teams in the standings will advance to the GAC Tournament held April 30 – May 2nd in Bentonville, Arkansas.

- Harding holds an 11-5 overall record at home this season and the Lady Bisons are 6-2 in GAC games. Harding's GAC losses came against Arkansas-Monticello 5-4 and Northwestern Oklahoma 7-1. The Lady Bisons have won its last five conference home games and are coming off a mid-week GAC doubleheader against Arkansas Tech.

- Harding swept Arkansas Tech on Tuesday, winning 2-1 and 4-2 to win the series 3-1. The two teams split the doubleheader in Russellville, Arkansas on March 24. In the four game series, Kimmy Hendricks led the Lady Bisons hitting .600 in 10 at bats. She had six hits, three RBIs and one run scored. Brookelynn Moon had five hits and four RBIs. Amber Rollins went 2-0 from the circle and posted a 1.00 ERA in 14 innings pitched. She only allowed two runs and struck out five.

- The Lady Bisons are led by Hendricks who is hitting .390.  Fellow sophomore Mackenzie Jones is right behind her, hitting .387.

- Senior pitcher Amber Rollins leads Harding's pitching staff with a 2.71 ERA which is second in the GAC. She has made 19 starts, thrown 14 complete games and has one shutout. She ranks third in the GAC in strikeouts with 89.

- Harding ranks fourth in the GAC with a .321 team batting average. The Lady Bisons have recorded 333 hits this season ranking them fourth in the GAC. Harding also ranks third in the GAC with a .409 on base percentage. The Lady Bisons lead the GAC in doubles with 65.

- Harding's pitching staff ranks third in the GAC with a 3.71 ERA. The Lady Bisons haven't given up very many extra base hits this season. Harding has only given up 34 doubles which is the second fewest in the GAC. It also has given up four triples which is tied for third in the GAC. Harding has given up 20 home runs which is the second fewest in the GAC.

- In GAC games this season, the Lady Bisons are led by Amanda Berdon. She has 22 hits, three doubles, and two home runs and leads the Lady Bisons with 17 RBIs. Hendricks is hitting .367 with 22 hits and 20 runs scored.

- Hendricks ranks third in the GAC in on base percentage (.529) and leads the GAC with 39 runs scored.

- The Lady Bisons lead the GAC in drawn walks with 145. Hendricks ranks second in the GAC with 31 walks and Carolyn Clayton ranks third with 22.

- Harding set a new school record earlier this season in stolen bases. The Lady Bisons have stolen 87 bases to lead the GAC and rank 10th in NCAA Division II. Courtney Derrick has stolen 24-of-25 bases and Hendricks has stolen 21-of-22 bases. Derrick leads the GAC and Hendricks ranks tied for second. Moon also ranks tied for sixth with 12.

- Jones leads the Lady Bisons with 13 multiple hit games. Eleven times this season she has recorded two hit games and two times she had three hits. Jones also leads in multiple RBI games with eight.

- Courtney Derrick and Kinsey Beck both have a 10 game hitting streak heading into Friday. Harding's record holder is Amanda Berdon who had a 13 game hitting streak last season.

- Hendricks has reached base in the last 15 games which is the longest streak by the Lady Bisons this season. Carolyn Clayton is Harding's record holder who reached base in 19 straight games last season.

- Harding has scored 224 runs (5.8 runs per game) this season which is 57 more than its opponent.

- Harding has scored 57 runs in the first inning and the Lady Bisons are 14-8 when scoring in the inning. Despite given up 36 runs in the sixth inning, Harding is 10-1 when leading after six.

- After the doubleheader on Saturday, the Lady Bisons will honor three seniors (Carolyn Clayton, Jessica Greene and Amber Rollins) for their contributions to the Harding softball program.

HENDERSON STATE

- Henderson State, who is receiving votes in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Poll, heads into series with a 26-8 overall record. The Reddies are 17-5 in GAC action this season and are currently in first place in the GAC standings.

- Henderson State has won 15 of its last 17 games. They are coming off a doubleheader sweep of Ouachita Baptist on Tuesday. The Reddies won the series 3-1 after splitting with the Tigers on March 24.

- Henderson State is 10-6 on the road this season and 17-6 away from its home field.

- The Reddies head into the doubleheader with a .350 team batting average which leads the GAC. Henderson State ranks second in the GAC in slugging percentage (.505), on base percentage (.413), runs scored (247), hits (348) and runs batted in (219).

- The Reddies are led by Sarah Gipson who leads the GAC with a .456 batting average. She has recorded 52 hits which ranks tied for second in the GAC and 44 RBIs which ranks second. Gipson also has 20 doubles, six home runs and has scored 30 runs. Ashlyn White ranks eighth in the GAC with a .411 batting average. She leads the team in home runs with eight.

- Henderson State has a 2.82 team ERA to lead the GAC. Michelle Sorensen leads the GAC with a 2.13 ERA. She has a 12-6 record in 23 appearances. Ashlyn White has a 3.00 ERA to rank sixth in the GAC. White has an 8-2 record in 17 appearances.

SERIES

- Henderson State leads the series 3-1.

- In the four games at Henderson State last season, Amanda Berdon led Harding hitting .400 with four hits, three RBIs and three runs. Courtney Derrick hit .333 with five hits and four RBIs.

- Amber Rollins and Danielle Hubbard both hold a 4.20 ERA against the Reddies. Hubbard pitched 10 innings and struck out four and Rollins pitched 8 1/3 innings, striking out five.
