First Meeting
The Harding softball team will look to pick up two non-conference wins when it travels to Rolla, Missouri to take on Missouri S&T in a doubleheader on Monday starting at 1 p.m.
The Lady Bisons are 7-3 in true road games this season and our 12-6 away from their home field.
Harding Team Notes:
Harding is coming off a 3-1 series win at Oklahoma Baptist this weekend. The Lady Bisons won the first three games, 5-2, 7-5 and 9-3 but dropped the last game in five innings 8-0. Harding was led by junior Brookelynn Moon who hit .636 in the series with seven hits, a homerun, four RBIs and four runs scored. Junior Hannah Johnson picked up two wins in the series in two starts. She had a 2.10 ERA in 10 innings of work.
Harding is led on the season by Brookelynn Moon who is hitting .462 in 65 at bats. She has 30 hits, five doubles, three homeruns and 17 RBIs.
Junior catcher Kimmy Hendricks leads Harding with 29 RBIs and is hitting .284. Junior Mackenzie Jones is right behind her with 26 RBIs and is hitting .275.
The Lady Bisons have stolen 61 bases this season in 68 attempts. Courtney Derrick leads Harding with 15.
Harding is led in the circle by freshman Kelly Beth Ernest who has a 1.47 ERA and a 4-2 record. Hannah Johnson is second on the team with a 2.75 ERA and a 7-1 record and has 10 starts.

Missouri S&T, a NCAA Division II member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, is coming off a five game tournament in Rosemont, Illinois. The Lady Miners went 3-2 in the tournament as they picked up wins against Wayne State (3-1), Walsh (6-5) and Ashland (6-1).
Missouri S&T went 0-4 in the Arkansas-Monticello 8-State Classic earlier this season. The Lady Miners fell to GAC members Southern Nazarene 7-0 and Northwestern Oklahoma 9-1.
Missouri S&T is led on the season by senior Kyra Slemp who is hitting .395 on the season. She leads the Lady Miners with 15 hits and eight runs scored.
