Robinson Wins Decathlon at Harding Multi

SEARCY – Harding junior Zalen Robinson won the decathlon Friday at the Harding Multi, hosted at the Ted and Marcie Lloyd Track and Field Complex.

Robinson, a native of DeSoto, Texas, set a personal best with 6,457 points in the 10-event competition over five other competitors. He ranks third on Harding's outdoor top performers list behind only Kelmen de Carvalho (7,062) and Matt Hipshire (6,467).

Robinson was the top scorer in the 100 meters, shot put, 110-meter hurdles and the pole vault. He set personal bests in the shot put (11.78m, 38-7.75) and the 110-meter hurdles (16.51).

Harding freshman Emi Landers placed fifth with 4,244 points.
