Harding Men's Track and Field Impresses with Multiple Event Wins and NCAA Provisional Marks

MEMPHIS – Harding's men's track and field team, ranked No. 4 in NCAA Division II, showcased their strength at the Rhodes 7-Way Meet on Saturday, notching two NCAA provisional marks and securing seven event victories.

The first provisional mark was clinched in the 4x100-meter relay, where the team of Krishaun Watson, Tad Kirby, Will Meredith, and Dakarai Bush sprinted to victory in 40.89 seconds.

In the pole vault, senior Jonathan Wall soared to success with a clearance of 4.87m (15-11.75), securing Harding's second provisional mark.

The Bisons added to their triumphs with two more victories in running events. Senior Dakarai Bush displayed his speed in the 200 meters, crossing the finish line in 21.59 seconds, while sophomore Arnaud des Boscs conquered the 1,500 meters in 3:53.69.

Harding continued their dominance in field events, claiming four additional victories. Sophomore Daniel Osoba leaped to victory in the triple jump with a mark of 14.01m (45-11.75), while junior Kenneth Hatley showcased his strength in both the discus (46.81m/153-7) and the hammer (54.10m/177-6). Senior Ben Ferris demonstrated his prowess in the javelin with a toss of 52.25m (171-5).

Looking ahead, Harding is set to compete in meets hosted by Arkansas and Arkansas State next weekend.
