SEARCY – The Harding men's track team won six events Thursday in the Harding Last Chance Meet at the Ted and Marcie Lloyd Track and Field Complex. Below are the highlights of the meet for Harding's men.
RUNNING EVENTS
- Fifth year Dakarai Bush won the 100 meters with a person best time of 10.55.
- Junior Derick St. Jean won the 400 meters and set a NCAA provisional with a time of 47.42.
- Junior Samuel Williams placed second in the 400 meters. He had a NCAA provisional and a person best time of 47.63.
- Junior Savian Bush won the 110-meter hurdles. He had NCAA provisional and a person best time of 14.03.
- Harding's 4x400 meter relay set a new school record of 3:08.63. The relay is made up of Bryan Singleton, Dakarai Bush, Samuel Williams and Derick St. Jean.
FIELD EVENTS
- Senior Brandon Hanoch placed second in the pole vault clearing a height of 4.92 meters which is a NCAA provisional.
- Senior Spencer Helms placed second throwing a discus 53.42 meters which is a NCAA provisional.
- Senior Kenneth Hatley placed second in the hammer. Hatley threw the hammer 58.60 meters which is a NCAA provisional.
DECATHLON
- Senior Zalen Robinson placed second as he finished with 6286 points which is a NCAA provisional.
- Freshman Emileano Landers placed third and finished with 5108 points which is a NCAA provisional.
