FORT SMITH, Ark. – Following the second round of the Great American Conference Championship on Tuesday at Hardscrabble Country Club, the Harding women's golf team is in second place, moving up from fourth after round one. The Lady Bisons recorded a second-round team score of 20-over 300, for a two-round total of 50-over 610.
Harding's Sarah Kmiecik shot 2-over 72 and moved into fifth place at 7-over 147 after two rounds. She had four birdies in the round and has five for the tournament.
Sydney Kincade shot 8-over 78 and is tied for sixth at 11-over 151. Pilar Martinez moved up 14 spots to No. 10 with a 3-over 73 in round two. She is at 13-over 153.
Cooper Meyer moved up seven places and sits 27th after shooting 7-over 77 in round two. She is 27th at 22-over. Madeleine Wilson is 29th at 24-over.
Henderson State maintains the lead after two rounds with a total score of 35 over. Freya Sala holds the individual lead with a second round 3 over and a two-round score of 4 over.
The final round of the GAC Championship is scheduled to begin Wednesday at 8 a.m.
