4.     Harding was picked to finish fourth of eight teams in the GSC West Division Preseason Poll. The top four teams in each division advance to the GSC Tournament in Southaven, Miss., in March.

5.     Lambuth is an independent member of the NAIA and in the process of making the jump to NCAA Division II. The Lady Eagles are 0-1 on the season after falling at home to Kentucky Wesleyan, 69-47.

6.     The series between the two teams is tied 1-1. The last meeting was in 1991 in Searcy. Harding defeated Lambuth 100-75.

9.     Harding will take a long road trip next Monday as they travel to Benedict in Columbia, South Carolina. Benedict is a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference which is one of the three conferences that make up the NCAA South Region (GSC and Sunshine State Conference are the other two members of the region). Regional rankings help decide what teams will make the postseason.
