The Harding women's golf team completed the first two rounds in the Emerald Coast Classic on Sunday in Sandestin, Florida and finished the day in 11
th place. Arkansas-Fort Smith led the 14-team field, leading Texas-Tyler by 12 strokes.
Abbey Bryan used four birdies in her season-low 2-over 73 in round 1 before finishing her day with a 11-over 82 and is tied for 32
nd.
Brenda Sanchez is tied for 47
th after shooting a 16-over 158 over the first two rounds.
Kodie Winnings joined the team lineup for the first time this season and shot a 20-over 162.
Alicia Martinez and
JoJo Perry rounded out the team scoring for the Lady Bisons with Martinez shooting a 22-over 164 and Perry shooting a 26-over 168 to sit tied for 60
th and tied for 68
th respectively.
Harding had four individual golfers compete.
Kiera Smith is tied with Perry for 68
th. Julie Ferro shot a 36-over 178,
Hannah Wood shot a 41-over 183, and
Summer Williamson shot a 46-over 188 to round out the Lady Bisons' day.
Harding will finish the Emerald Coast Classic on Monday morning with just one round teeing off at 8:15 a.m.
