The Harding women's golf team finished the first round of the Central Region Fall Preview in fourth place after shooting a 21-over 309 on Monday in Blue Springs, Missouri. Henderson State finished the day atop the leaderboard with a 12-over 300. 
 
Brenda Sanchez posted the lowest score for the Lady Bisons in the first round, shooting a 3-over 75 and is tied for sixth. Sanchez had one birdie on the day and was tied for the seventh most pars with 13. 
 
Abbey Bryan and Alicia Martinez both finished the round with a 5-over 77 and are tied for 20^th. Julie Fierro scored one birdie and finished with an 8-over 80 and tied for 44^th. JoJo Perry was the final Lady Bison competing in the team event and finished in 98^th with a 21-over 93. 
 
Kodie Winnings competed as an individual and finished tied for 52^nd with a 9-over 81. 
 
The Lady Bisons will play the second and final round of the tournament on Tuesday morning, teeing off at 8 a.m.
