The Harding women's golf team shot a 26-over 314 on Tuesday and finished the Natural State Golf Classic in Cabot with a 54-over 630 and in fifth place. Rogers State took the team title with a 26-over 602.
Abbey Bryan secured her second straight top-10 finish with an 8-over 152, good enough to tie for sixth after another 4-over 76.
Brenda Sanchez shot a 6-over 78 in Round 2 and finished the tournament with a 14-over 158 and tied for 25
th.
Alicia Martinez finished tied for 31
st with a 16-over 160 after a 6-over 78 on Tuesday.
Kodie Winnings finished with a 17-over 161 for the tournament and tied for 37
th.
JoJo Perry was one of five golfers in the tournament with an eagle and shot a 10-over 82 to finish with a 24-over 168 and tied for 56
th.
Julie Ferro was the highest placing individual for the Lady Bisons after a 5-over 77 in Round 2 helped her finish with a 16-over 160 and tied for 31
st.
Ines Sanchez finished her first tournament with a 20-over 164 and tied for 47
th.
Claire Hounshell finished in 80
th with an 89-over 233.
The Lady Bisons will take a week off before returning to action on March 14-15 in Destin, Florida at the Emerald Shore Classic, hosted by Missouri-St. Louis.
